Rob Wadleigh has been building models of classic wooden yachts for many years. Rob builds Class A models, meaning that there are no purchased parts, capturing the magic of the wooden yacht and its classic design. Most of his models are also finished below deck. He has given talks on model building and participated in marine art shows throughout the Northeast. In 2000 he was awarded a Gold Medal for his entry in the Mariner Museum’s Scale Ship Model Competition.
