Victory! Yale Heavyweights Win the Race, June 7, 2015

The first Yale-Harvard boat race took place on August 3, 1852, on Lake Winnipesaukee, in New Hampshire. Now the oldest intercollegiate athletic event in the U.S., this weekend, the 157th race will take place on the Thames River in New London, CT, where the course moved in 1878. To date, the Harvard varsity team has prevailed 95-58 over Yale. However, since this 2015 victory, Yale has won 6 straight regattas.
