Glen Hacker

(b. 1959)

Glen is an avid fisherman and artist. He has fished for and caught over 30 species of fish all over the world, both on spin and fly rod. These include bonefish, striped bass , white and blue marlin, yellow and bluefin tuna, false albacore, bonito and more. Glen depicts the surf and fish with an impressionistic style and movement that gives the impression to the viewer that they are there. More recently he fishes from a wooden paddle board that he made. He enjoys the quiet nature of that type of fishing.

Glen has concentrated his creative efforts painting portraits and waterscapes. He has traveled extensively in pursuit of salt water’s most thrilling and elusive game fish, and has often been commissioned to paint fishermen and women with their trophy catches.

His award winning bronzes and oil paintings are included in numerous private collections.
