To the Top of the Dunes

Not all maritime paintings feature mighty ships on the ocean, Dick Loud - the son of a boat-builder - has used his skills and knowledge to paint lovely yacht-racing moments like Burgess-designed forty-footers racing, he also cast his eye shoreward to create visions of Victorian women and children visiting the seashore. A truly timeless depiction of mothers and daughters playing amidst the splendor of the coastal landscape.

oil on canvas, 21" x 18" (28" x 25" Framed)
