Tim Thompson is internationally known for his book "The Winning Moment: Paintings of the America's Cup 1851-1986," which includes paintings by him depicting every America's Cup Race since 1851. Although the book was originally published in 1986, then updated in 1996, Tim has continued to paint each America's Cup Regatta, helping to preserve images of the evolution of racing yacht designs.
